It is in collaboration with Didier [pronounced Didièrrrre], a young 20-year-old Wayuu that we co -created these yoga straps . Didier weaves them by hand according to the ancestral Wayuu tradition. These straps are originally the shoulder straps of Wayuus mochilas.
It is to support his mother, and continue to finance his studies, that Didier created these little wonders! Since he was very young, he has always been surrounded by weavers. It was by watching and playing to imitate them that he gradually learned to weave! Today, he is proud to be able to carry the know-how of his people , which according to him, defines him as Wayuu Native American!
